    Aciers pour la construction mécanique - Acier de cémentation

    Case hardening steels are hardened by carburizing the surface layer, i.e. they are particularly characterized by a very high surface hardness (approx. 62 HRc) in combination with a tough core. Due to their excellent polishability, these steels are particularly suitable for smaller molds and inserts.
